Achievement of LEED GA® & LEED AP® status, though highly desirable, is rapidly becoming an indispensable collaborative tool as Architects, real estate professionals, landscape architects, construction managers, contractors, facility managers, engineers, lenders and government officials all use LEED to help transform the built environment to sustainability. State and local governments across the country are adopting LEED for publicly and privately owned and funded buildings and many federal initiatives are in place.

DVA Energy understands that the expertise and needs of this industry and have designed an Exam Preparation & Study Course to address the specific needs of the building industry. DVA Energy has conducted these courses since 2007 and have trained more than 500 industry professionals.

DVA Energy's Bala Srini is a USGBC Pro Reviewer. USGBC Pro Reviewers are experts in green building and sustainability who review courses on Education @USGBC. Bala Srini is also a part-time faculty at Montgomery College conducting LEED classes. These expertise and knowledge upkeep helps DVA Energy to exceed the industry needs.

The LEED AP exam is divided into two parts. The first step is the LEED Green Associate exam, for professionals who want to demonstrate green building expertise in non-technical fields of practice, which denotes basic knowledge of green design, construction, and operations. The second step is a specialty exam based on one of the LEED Rating Systems. The candidates need to pass the LEED GA before taking the LEED AP exam.
